Major change for the back deck. Over the years the back deck has been our outdoor living room. We had a deck that was 8 ft by 50 ft. We are in the process of expanding the deck to 12 ft by 32 ft. That should provide enuf space where I can chase Sue and I may not catch her. But the attempt should be fun. And when I’m successful . . . well, imagination is a good thing. For those of you who need some excitement in your life, come do some chasing circuits on your own on the new deck.

Celebrating Diana’s new job as “chief cook & bottle washer” of the Anacortes Public Library – actually as “Library Public Service Manager”. She is incredibly qualified for this position and will make the Anacortes City Library even more useful for the citizens of Anacortes. We are very proud of her! Of course to celebrate one must do so at the Puget Sounds premier restaurant, Canlis.

A bit premature, perhaps . . . since our 41st anniversary isn’t until 6/2, but I think we might be able to get there. Another fantastic dinner at our all time favorite restaurant in Seattle, Canlis.
